Kids Club at Emu Park (Flier) For children at Emu Park we now have a Kids Club every Tuesday afternoon at the new school hall in the gounds of the State School. We meet from 3pm till 4:30 and enjoy learning about the Christian faith through games, craft, stories and music. When children arrive they enjoy an afternoon tea like grandma would make! Just down load the Kids Club Registration.pdf and post to P.O. Box 197, Yeppoon or email to kidsclub@keppelanglican.org. The cost is just $2 a week. Children in worship Children are encouraged to be a part of worship on Saturday night and the 9:00 am Sunday worship. On the FIRST SUNDAY of the month at St James the 9:00 am service is particularly focused around involving children in the worship. Worship for Kids On the third Sunday of the month at 4:30 pm we gather for worship that seeks to involve the children in a way that is both enjoyable and meaningful. So for instance we will have a time of craft activity, action songs and a setting that helps families worship together. A key element will be the BYO BBQ following the service so families can relax and chat for a while and when it is time to head home the children just need a bath and into bed. Religious Education in Schools We are part of a co-operative team that teaches in 8 state primary schools across the Keppel Coast. Each week over 1000 children participate in a program that uses the Connect Syllabus. Noah’s Play Group Is looking for a new co-ordinator and interested mums to begin activities in 2010.
